TYGS #14 - The Last Chapter

On December 19^th 2009 The MoveMint will present the final installation of KL's premiere Rap Battle event and Hip Hop showcase.

TYGS aka Think You Got Skillz has been a regular monthly platform for Local and International Hip Hop Artists in KL since August 2008. As the first-ever Rap Battle event in Malaysia TYGS has garnered much acclaim and notoriety since its humble beginnings.

We have been voted “Best Small Room Event 2008” by Juice Magazine and received press in Junk, Juice, Klue, Rentak Sejuta, Voize.my, Time Out KL and The Star. Vandal, TYGS’s founder, has been interviewed numerous times to talk about TYGS and has also hosted battles for Xpax’s UOX events in March & April 2009. Previous sponsors for TYGS events have been Nike, Echo Park, Cloth & Clef, The Singing Shop, 1Asia, Junk Magazine, Ego TV, Zulu Nation Malaysia, Urban Camper Entertainment & Xross-Fader.

As the final installation of this series The MoveMint has invited more great local performers and is offering Cash & Prizes for the winner of the Rap Battle.

Papi Zak, local comedian, will grace the stage as the first comedian to touch down at TYGS. We've also got Vibe (Dareyno) who has just launched his single/video “I'm Broke” and bringing the International flavor to the night is B.L.I. Aka Blitz from Gab City, Botswana.

Kraft hosts the night while Silk Road Sound System (Vandal & Illsteez) provides the tunes. As always, for the battles the crowd is the judge! Expect a special sneak performance by Vandal..

Ayam Legend will be providing the Jamaican Jerk Chicken BBQ Cook-Out and entry is RM25 inclusive of 1^st drink!
